Ebonyi Journalist's Father Laid To Rest Amidst Tributes

A member of Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ and correspondent, Citizens Advocate Newspaper, Nwogha Ndubuisi Andy on Friday May 10th,2024 committed to the earth his late father, elder Michael Nwogha Ikpozu at Ndiechi Igbeagu autonomous community, Izzi LGA of Ebonyi state. Speaking during the event,Rev Chigozie Izhiamgbo Kenneth, Chairman, Ebonyi Congress of Ministers, (CoM)said death is a debt owed by all the livings and charged all and sundry to look deep into their lives as there is no repentance inside the grave.
Reverend Chigozie noted that elder Ikpozu lived a fulfilled live as a politician, businessman, and believer of Christ stressing that the late Ikpozu was a champion of peace who built many churches before he bid farewell to his lovers. He admonished christians to be the light that pegans and atheists would see to turn back to Christ. Earlier, the former Minister for Power and Steel, Chief Goddy Ogbaga commiserated with the bereaved family and enjoined them to unite in sustaining the legacy of their family who lived a fulfilled life. Chief Ogbaga equally advised the bereaved Ndubuisi to continue praying for the peaceful repose of the soul of his late father. The immediate past Special Assistant to governor David Umahi on Higher Education, Prof Adaeze Nwuzor also commiserated with the bereaved Ndubuisi and enjoined the family to sustain the good steps of their late father.
On his part, the national president, Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum, and founder, St Benedict's family, Comrade Ben Nwovu, and the former Secretary, People's Democratic Party, PDP, Hon Cyril Ibeogu condoned with the family for loosing their beloved father when they needed him the most and advised them to always believe in God for He is trusted all the times. The event was honoured by delegates from Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ebonyi state Council, friends and well wishers.
