EFCC Arrests 23 Suspected Internet Fraudsters in Abakaliki

From Nwogha Ndubuisi, Abakaliki Operatives of the Enugu Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC have arrested twenty-three (23) suspected internet fraudsters in Abakaliki, Ebonyi State capital.

The suspects were arrested in the early hours of Thursday, May 2, 2024 following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet related activities.

According to information made available by the Commission, items recovered from them include one laptop and mobile phones. The suspects would be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
