Gov Nwifuru has redefined governance in last one year~EBS-ALDA

The Ebonyi State Agricultural Land Development Authority Board, EBS-ALDA has felicitated with the governor of Ebonyi State, H.E Rt Hon Bldr Francis Nwifuru on the occasion of his one year in office.

The Board in a statement signed by its chairman and the Executive Secretary, Chief Mrs lovette Enekwachi-Akpa and Hon Maxwell Nwali respectfully remarked that Governor Nwifuru had redefined governance in the last one year. The statement said Governor Nwifuru had shown a rare commitment to encourage sustainable agricultural land development for food and fibre selfreliance in the State adding that this had helped to achieve food and nutrition security in Ebonyi state.

Your achievements are visible in all sectors across the State. "Your social contract with Ebonyians anchored on the People's Charter of Needs mantra clearly locates you as a Man of the People". "Your Excellency, Ebonyians are happy and proud with you for your unprecedented achievements of your government so far particularly in the areas of massive human and infrastructural development- rural/urban road construction, payment of arrears of gratuities and Pensions to retirees since 1996 till date; increment of workers salaries, bonuses and other entitlements, ongoing construction of 2km road in each Community, distribution of SUVs to Medical Doctors working in our General Hospitals and Procurement of Hilux Vans for security agencies". "We wish to specifically acknowledge your dogged determination to fix the moribund Nkaliki Hatchery and other industries in the state". "The procurement of tractors for modern Agric driven economy as well as high breed Agricultural inputs for distribution to farmers are very positive steps towards boosting food sufficiency in the state" "We call citizens of the state to join hands with the governor to ensure optimal utilization of Ebonyi State's rural land resources for accelerated production of food and fibre," "We pray God to continue to grant your Excellency sound health to continue to pilot the affairs of Ebonyi State to greater heights" “Accept the assurances of our best regards and congratulations again,” the statement reads.
