Scarcity of dream hits Nigeria, Ebonyi man decries

Ebonyi state man in his early 30, Mr Nwogha Ndubuisi Andy has said that he no longer dream occasioned by what he suspected to be the influence of hardship in the country.
He narrated that it is barely one month that he dreamt last and worried that the situation may be connected to the bad leadership that has forced some youth to agitate for improvement of good governance adding that such never happened in his life until recently. Nwogha who is graduate of Mass Communication and a livestock farmer commended the ongoing administration led by president Bola Tinubu for his various intervention programmes aimed at addressing the current economic hardship in the country.
He equally appreciated the president for his quick response in addressing the Labour Union agitation for increment of workers salaries which will go a long way to cushion economic challenge faced by the people and his recent move on the local government autonomy which under his administration the Supreme Court declared the 774 Local Government in Nigeria autonomous stating that further implementation of electoral body that would conduct Council's election would help the people to choose their chairmen as such strengthen local administration at the grassroot. He appreciated the move to release more palliative to states which some trailers of rice had been sent across the thirty six states and Abuja which would go a long way to reduce the scorching hunger in the country, but however admonished mr president that the social register having records of Nigerians with low income can be access and use it to empower majority less privileged as the palliative never get to target persons. He appealed that the federal government lift embargo in job employment across all sectors of the ministries and departments which according to him should be closely monitored by Mr president,Tinubu to ensure its transparent and accommodate all states and regions as many graduates have no job especially those who have no political godfather and as such engage in crimes and social vices. The concern Nigeria also harped on need for accountability and transparency in governance noting that the country is going cross road with crop of leaders currently in power as the youths are growing lawless occasioned by the way politicians allegedly share guns to touts during election and after election would not retrieve back these unlicensed guns and they turned back to harras innocent citizens. He urged the president to intervene in mazi Nnamdi Kalu's release as to dounce the tension of activities of Indigenous People of Biafra,IPOB in South East while he look at those things claimed to be causing the unrest in the zone and country at large. He also called on president Tinubu to declare state of emergency on the educational and agricultural sectors adding that a nation is a product of its educational standard and no nation survive by relying on other countries in what they eat and source of industrial production.
