Christmas: Gov Nwifuru refutes sharing 20,000 naira largesse

Governor Francis Nwifuru has refuted the misleading and fraudulent online data collation link promising to be paying N20,000.00 cash transfer as Christmas gift to all Ebonyians.

The Governor said that the platform has been created by unknown person in his name. The Special Assistant to the Governor on New Media,Leo Oketa made this known in a statement signed and made available to newsmen calling on the general public and Ebonyi people to desist from filing the online form According to him, the Governor did not authorize any platform to collate data for payment of N20,000.00 Christmas cash transfer by all means, hence, should be ignored and treated as scam. He said that the Governor understands that the Yuletide season is ridden with temptations of all sorts which was partly why he proactively attended to such needs by approving N150,000.00 Christmas bonus for every State Civil Servant in the State. The Special Assistant who further warned perpetrators of the heinous acts to desist from such criminal activities vowed to fish out the suspected hoodlums to face the wrath of the law as to serve as deterrent to others who may go into such in the nearest future.
