Ebonyi APC Chieftain Lauds Gov Nwifuru's Scholarship Scheme

The Chieftain of All Progressives Congress, (APC)in Ebonyi state, Chief Celestine Ekechi,(Kojos) has lauded the giant stride of the Ebonyi state governor, Francis Nwifuru who sends 204 first class indigenous graduates on scholarship at United Kingdom.
He made his feelings known when our Correspondent samples stakeholders opinions on issues surrounding the governor's scholarship scheme. Reacting, member governing Council, Federal College of Education Technical, Kiana, Nassarawa State, Chief Celestine Ekechi described the All Progressives Congress led government of Governor Francis Nwifuru as living up to the expectations of the people especially in keeping to his political promises.
He emphasized that the scholarship scheme is the best form of empowerment as beneficiaries would in turn influence the growth of their families and the entire state. He advised beneficiaries to live by example, being Ambassadors of the state even as they shun doing what would tarnish the image of the country and Ebonyi state. "His Excellency the Governor,Rt Hon Prince Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru has been living by his promises which he made during his campaign and I rate him high.
"Also, I commend him for the foreign and national scholarship scheme because we may not know what will come out of those he sent abroad and even those at the different universities doing their master's and doctorate degrees. He added, "I wish to say that what the governor has done is the best form of empowerment as we might be having both ministers, governors and academia in different strata which we are going to reap the benefits in the future as well, I am calling on them to live by example by not doing anything that will tarnish the image of Ebonyi state and Nigeria at large, hope they graduate in flying colours. Recall that Ebonyi state Governor, Francis Nwifuru last weekend officially flagged off the departure of 204 first class students for oversea and over five hundred graduates on national scholarship program at Chuba Okadigbo International Airport Onueke.
