Just In: Again! Ebonyi Governor slams SSA, one other over gross misconduct

Ebonyi state governor, Francis Nwifuru has announced the dismissal of two aides on alleged act of gross misconduct.

Those affected by the order includes: Mr. Nnannna Nwangele - Special Assistant to the Governor on Airport Security, and Mr.Felix Okemini, who was a Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security (Ebonyi North). This was followed by the statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Grace Umezurike on Tuesday. According to the statement: "The Executive Governor of Ebonyi State, His Excellency, Rt.Hon.Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, FNIOB, GGCEHF, has approved the dismissal of the following officers from office following an act of gross misconduct "They includes, Nnannna Nwangele - Special Assistant to the Governor on Airport Security, ii. Mr. Felix Okemini- Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security (Ebonyi North). "Consequently, the officers should handover all government properties in their possession to the Secretary to Ebonyi State Government, not later than 4pm today March 18, 2025. "The officers should, henceforth not be seen anywhere around Government House or participate in any Government activity. the statement stressed.
