Breaking: Matriarch Cecilia Izziamgbo Laid To Rest Amidst Tributes

Death as a necessity that comes when it will come recently paid a visitation to a family of late Izziamgbo Orote where it snatched a matriarch, late Chief Mrs Cecilia Chinyere Otubo Izhiamgbo who was laid to rest amidst tributes on Friday, 21st March,2025 at Ndiuruku Amagu, Abakaliki Local Government Area of Ebonyi state.

In his sermon, a cleric of Anglican Church Ndiuruku Amagu, described death as inevitable end saying that though Mama lived a good life and aged, but nobody would wish to die.

The cleric noted that the life we live on earth is what we will be remembered for,"Nobody will.like to identify or remember somebody that's evil, rather , a good person. Like the Gospel says, when Lazarus died in the scripture; you will see that Jesus Christ we all know performed three things and he's known by prayer, healing and deliverance.

"Jesus Christ was a family friend of Matyr and Lazarus and they so much trusted in him which was why when Lazarus died, they sent for him that Lazarus had died, been that he was busy, Matyr complained that if he was there her brother wouldn't had died. Been that she believed that Jesus had the power to stop or do anything, Jesus told her that he was already there, but they thought he was talking about resurrection day.

"We have two types of death Viz a viz: Spiritual and physical death. We are living in a world where people want to make it today or tomorrow without thinking about the repercussions. No matter how rich you are, one academic qualifications; one day, you will leave this world and nobody has ever died and was buried with his or her property. just watch as Mama's grave is been dug, it's left for you to know that despite our hustle, we can't go to the grave with all this things.

"I attended a burial at Anambra of a Professor with countless certificate and at the end, he was buried with none of these certificate and all of them became useless the moment he died. "Saul was a Christian persecutor until he repented and accepted Jesus Christ as a Paul. Today, is an opportunity for us to accept Christ and not be lured into believing that church is a scam".

He enjoined Christians to live good life as there's life after death, stressing that accepting Christ does not make one not to suffer persecution, but assured of life of enternity. "That people are doing e

vil do not represent the that there's no God and that you are a Christian does not mean, you will not suffer. "We know that it was thesame people who was with Jesus Christ that raised voices calling that Christ be crucified. who are you to fear crucifixion, but he won death which is what he assured us. know it that there's no repentance in the grave; once you are dead, you are dead.

"What will you be remembered for, your position, money, and certificate will never safe you except Christ, be strong in church so that at the end will meet in His kingdom" he advised.

The bereaved son,Hon. Mr Chibueze Izziamgbo thanked the Anglican church for being with the mother thoroughout the time she was sick including coming to perform many rites while she no longer have strength to come to church and equally thanked friends and well wishers for coming to mourn with them.
