Police arrest suspect with human skulls, firearms in Ebonyi

Ebonyi State Police Command has reportedly arrested a suspect, Ovuta Chigozie, a native of Okoffia community in Ezza South Local Government Area of the state with firearms and human skulls.
According to a statement made available to newsmen by the Ebonyi state Police Public Relation Officer, SP Joshua Ukandu, said that the suspect was found in possession of two human skulls and three locally made guns and had confessed that the skulls were given to him for a preparation of spiritual concoction. He explained that the authorities are actively pursuing the individual mentioned in connection with the case.
In another related development, while tracking a stolen tricycle, operatives of the command has equally uncovered a criminal syndicate specialized in altering the colours of stolen tricycles from neighbouring states. The operation he said led to the arrest of Nweke Chukwudi 'm', Nwankwo Obinna 'm', John Abba 'm', and Uche Abba 'm' whereas, three stolen tricycles were recovered from the suspects, who admitted to receiving the vehicles from accomplices for colour modifications. He said that all the suspects would be charged to court upon the completion of investigations. The state police reiterated the commands commitment to safeguarding lives and property across the state while urging residents to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity around them on the command control room.
