Nwebonyi FC Coach Applauds Team Over Goaless Draw With Cynosure

Head coach of Nwebonyi FC, Igwe Samuel has applauded team's 0-0 draw against Cynosure in their friendly match. The match played at the King David Estate field in Abakaliki on Thursday saw the two teams in a tough goaless after 90-minutes.

The head coach, Igwe commended the team's wonderful performance saying that the outing though do not get targeted result of defeating the opponent in the friendly match, but players put in their best but luck was not on their side. "Our boys did wonderfully well despite the fact that they met with the a team that had appeared in national league. "Nwebonyi FC is a team that is prepared to welcome new team especially young people that have future in football even if they are not known yet in the state and we are willing to absorb the player in our team. "The target is for us to have players that will be playing in international leagues and clubs in the shortest while and we are hoping to have our players there soon as the league is fully mobilized." he emphasized.
