ASSOCIATION OF IZZI MEDIA WORKERS SALUTES GOVERNOR FRANCIS OGBONNA NWIFURU FOR TWO YEARS OF EXEMPLARY LEADERSHIP

The Association of Izzi Media Workers heartily commends His Excellency, Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, for his pragmatic and visionary leadership that has ushered in unprecedented development across critical sectors of the state.

Izzi Media Workers applaud the Governor’s humane and inclusive approach to governance, which has effectively ended bitter political rivalries and needless sentiments within the political landscape of the state. His administration’s commitment to education demonstrated through generous local and international scholarships to deserving Ebonyi youths, is deeply commendable.

We equally acknowledge the Governor's transformative efforts in healthcare and civil service reforms, particularly the payment of backlog of gratuities and pensions owed to retired civil servants dating back to 1996. His investment in social welfare, general empowerment, and human capital development, especially in agriculture, reflects a leadership deeply in touch with the needs of the people.

We are indeed grateful for his bold step to expanding the infrastructure development of the state to Ebonyi rural communities, where local roads, bridges and traditional rulers' palaces have gradually begun wearing new looks.

It's apt to state here that His Excellency, the Governor has not disappointed Ebonyi people in considering his gradual and positive result-oriented implementation of his campaign manifesto anchored on the People's Charter of Needs within his two years in office! Kudos Sir, for setting a brighter and productive future for the Ebonyi people!

Our appreciation also extends to the Ebonyi First Lady, Her Excellency Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru, the Deputy Governor, Her Excellency Princess Patricia Onyemaechi Obila, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Moses Ije Odunwa, the State Chief Judge, Hon. Justice Evls Ngene, and all other government functionaries at both state and national levels, for their invaluable contributions to the actualization of the Ebonyi dream under the current administration.

We further commend the law-abiding citizens of Ebonyi State for their continued support and cooperation as Governor Nwifuru steers the state toward progress and prosperity.

It is our heartfelt prayer to His Excellency to continue to amass God's wisdom, sound health, strength and protection to take Ebonyi State to greater heights.
