FA Final: Ebonyi FC has shown dexterity to produce next world notable player~Senator Ani

The Senator representing Ebonyi South Senatorial zone, Professor Anthony Okorie.Ani has applauded the doggedness of the state football players popularly known as De Rice Boys as they are jostling to engage their Kwara State counterparts in Nigeria Football Federation cup final. He made this known while predicting the outcome of the upcoming president Federation Cup coming on Saturday stressing that the players had already beaten everyone’s imagination by getting to such height of performance in their first appearance in Nigeria National League.

“For having defeated other seemingly unstoppable clubs as Katsina United, Enyimba International and Ikorodu City to book their place in the final with Kwara United is an indescribable credit to De Rice Boys and the state government” he said. The lawmaker also said that if the boys could sustain the strength of mind subsequently that the club would not only change the state narrative but also produce the replicas of the former international players as Jay Jay Okocha, Kanu Nwankwo and others.

Senator Ani further charged the players to remain mean during the final match on Saturday 28th June, 2025 at Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos State by keeping to the rules and avoid entertainment skills to grasp the prestigious FA trophy. He urged the team coaches, other officials and the members of supporters’ club to intensify efforts in their respective roles to encourage the state governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru with victory for revamping sporting activities. He also charged them to always remember God in every of their movement as that would guarantee their journeys and victories at all times.
