Ebonyi: Nkaleke Community Tips Gov. Nwifuru For 2nd Term, Embarks On 2-Million Solidarity Solidarity Road Walk

The people of Nkaleke Echara community, Ebonyi Local Government Area in Ebonyi state on weekend embarked on two-million solidarity road walk to appreciate Ebonyi state governor, Francis Nwifuru for the award of Oji Nwogbaga-Alo road and other impactful projects in the area.
The people who turned out en mass took a road walk from randa to Pa Ngele Oruta Township stadium, Abakaliki in their appreciation for the completion of the first phase of 23-kilometre Oji Nwogbaga-Alo road and the recent award of 16-kilometre road that is taking from randa to Ottam Nkaleke.
Speaking on behalf of political appointees, the state commissioner for Human Capital Development and Monitoring, Mrs Ann Aligwe said that the solidarity walk was to thank governor Nwifuru for opening the community road that was once abandoned and described the project as a long prayer answered by the governor.
Corroborating, the member representing Ebonyi North East constituency, Mrs Chinyere Nwogbaga thanked the people for coming out to sincerely express their joy over the inclusive leadership of governor Nwifuru which the Nkaleke people have benefited numerously and commended the executive chairman of Ebonyi local government Area, Mr Chinedu Uburu for his good work. She also commended Governor Nwifuru for appointing sons and daughters of the community into positions of trust and pledged their continuous support to the All Progressives Congress, APC led governor in the state.
The Echiaba Development Center coordinator, Mr Friday Oketa and his Ozibo Development Center counterpart, Mrs Igboke Susan described the road walk as a necessity stating that the road had been awarded thrice but all failed before governor Nwifuru's intervention.
Others who spoke include, Eze Sunday Oketa, traditional ruler representing Nkaleke Echara Unupfu autonomous community, Mr Moses Oshibe, former commissioner for Lands and Survey, Mrs Ifeyinwa Nwazunku, wife of the former speaker Ebonyi state House of Assembly and erstwhile federal lawmaker representing Ebonyi/Ohaukwu federal constituency,Mr Patrick Orogbo Ebonyi LGA All Progressives Congress party chairman, and Mr Paul Iganga, member land use and allocation committee thanked governor Nwifuru for giving the people sense of belonging and prayed God to answer all the secret prayers of the governor.
