NWFL: Gov. Diri offers Bayelsa Queens 4million each for winning league

Bayelsa State Governor, Douye Diri has given ₦4 million each to the 26 players of Bayelsa Queens Football Club for winning the 2024/25 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership.

Players who were registered with the team but did not play were compensated with the sum of ₦1 million each. ₦4 million naira also went to the head coach, as chairman of the board received ₦3 million naira while assistant coaches took home ₦2 million naira each, back room staff got ₦1.5 million naira each, as board members got ₦1 million naira each while supporters club received ₦3 million naira. Meanwhile, management of Premium Trust Bank rewarded the players and technical officials with the sum of ₦2 million.
