Gov. Nwifuru Lauds Two Ebonyians For Elevation to Senior Advocate of Nigeria

Ebonyi State Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to two illustrious sons of the state, Barr. Luke Nkwegu and Barr. Fidelis Iteshi, on their recent elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
Governor Nwifuru in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary, Dr Monday Uzor described their promotion as “well-deserved”, noting that the honour is a testament to their years of dedication, integrity, and exceptional brilliance in the legal profession. “Your elevation not only brings pride to the legal community but also serves as a source of inspiration to young lawyers across the country, especially here in Ebonyi State,” the Governor stated.
He further commended their unwavering commitment to the principles of justice and professionalism, expressing confidence that they will continue to uphold the noble ideals associated with their new rank. “As you step into this new phase of your legal journey, be assured of our full support and best wishes,” the Governor added.
Governor Nwifuru urged the new SANs to remain steadfast in promoting the values of the legal profession and to continue making Ebonyi State proud. The swearing-in of the 57 newly elevated Senior Advocates of Nigeria is scheduled to be performed by Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun on Monday, 29th September, 2025.
