August Meeting: Ebonyi First Lady Urges Ezza South Women to Cultivate Tolerance, Drive Family Transformation

The Wife of Ebonyi State Governor, Chief Mrs. Maudline Uzomaka Ogbonna Nwifuru, has urged women in Ezza South Local Government Area to embrace tolerance and lead positive transformations within their families.
Speaking at the 2025 August Meeting held at the council headquarters in Onueke, themed “Women Inspiring Change,” the First Lady, represented by the Executive Chairman of Ishielu Local Government, Chief Mrs. Ifeoma Peace Agwu, described women as the bedrock of society and the driving force for sustainable change.
“Change begins with us, the women,” she stressed. “As the foundation of our families, we are the roof that holds our houses together. Let us strive for constructive changes, starting from within our homes.”
Ezza South Council Chairman, Mrs. Euphoria Nneka Nwali, in her goodwill message, commended the First Lady for her unwavering commitment to women’s empowerment. She pledged to continue supporting initiatives that would enable women in the area to harness their full potential.
Mrs. Nwali further encouraged the women to live out the values of tolerance and unity, noting that such virtues would not only strengthen families but also inspire future generations.
The meeting ended with participants expressing renewed determination to become role models and agents of positive transformation within their families and communities
