Doris Chad Christian Academy holds grand graduation, pledges renewed commitment to upholding Christian values
The Dorris-Chad International Christian Academy has held a graduation ceremony with a call to all parents and caregivers to prioritise the spiritual and intellectual growth of their children.
Founded in Enohia Itim Community, Afikpo, Ebonyi State in 2012 and immortalising Dorris Taylor and Chad Wagner, American missionaries, the academy has sticked to academic excellence by raising morally and intellectually strong students/pupils.
Speaking during the grand event held in the academy's premises on 23rd July, 2025, the Head Teacher, Mrs Obat Isaac urged to parents, and caregivers to prioritise the spiritual and intellectual growth of their children against all odds.
According to Mrs Isaac, spiritually, morally and intellectually sound children can confidently handle any tasks be it daunting.
The Head Teacher explained that under her watch, children are not only taught literacy and numeracy, but also sound moral etiquette and other survivalists skills early in life.
She stated that the graduation marks the end of the 2024/2025 academic calendar and transition to a new session.
While pledging renewed commitment, Mrs Isaac called on the general public to leverage the comparative advantage of the academy for their children.
These advantages, she explained include, small size classrooms, specialized coaching, conducive environments that engenders learning, water, electricity and experienced teachers.
" We have trained teachers here. The size of our classrooms are designed to reduce congestion, enhance learning and specialized coaching.
"We not only train your children to read, write and calculate numbers, but also prioritise their spiritual growths while inculcating sound moral etiquettes on them.
"This is why we want you to entrust your children's education in our care", she said.
