Tinubu's Govt Has Favoured Igbos More Than Past Ones--Senator Ani

The Senator representing Ebonyi South Senatorial district, Professor Anthony Okorie-Ani has disclosed that the present administration under president Ahmed Bola Tinubu has provided the people of South East region with more privileges than the past governments combined together.
He made the disclosure while interacting with our correspondent stressing that besides the appointive positions ranging from ministers, Special Assistants, head of agencies, board members among others that the region is equally feeling impacts of the government in other sectors.
The federal lawmaker who is also Vice Chairman of South East Development Commission (SEDC) commended the president for prioritizing practicality unlike some past leaders muddled with emotional considerations during their tenures and thereby appealed for support over his second tenure.
Senator Ani described the ongoing roads constructions that cut across all the geo-political zones as unifying projects that would serve as a set standard for the national development adding that the marginalization against the Igbo people has been reversed by President Tinubu.
He further appealed for total support of the president’s second term agenda rather than dividing the votes of South East due to sentiment or ignorance as such is capable of denying the Igbo people their chances in future.
“President Tinubu and APC government are formidable against the rootless and online coalition, thus whoever that wishes the Igbo people well should always work for the success of the former rather than joining the bandwagon of the noise makers” he said.
He advised South Easterners to weigh the value of the ongoing constructions comprising 2nd Niger Bridge, Enugu/Onitsha, Afikpo/Abia/Imo, Umuahia/Ikot Ekpene roads and many more as such would make them to thank the president and his disciples of leadership.
