Gov.Nwifuru Spotlights Young Musician at INYF BOT Chairman, Ben Nwovu’s Birthday
In a colorful celebration marking the birthday of the Director-General of Ebonyi State Infrastructure Maintenance Agency (EBIMA),and Board of Trustees Chairman of the Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum, High Chief Benedict Nwovu, the Governor of Ebonyi State, Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, spotlighted and showcased a budding musical talent, Master Chinedu Nwuzor(Bobo).
The governor, represented by cultural icon and philanthropist, Prince Maurice Mbam (a.k.a. Aguiyi 1), raised the young musician before the crowd and announced plans to facilitate his debut album in collaboration with hip-hop star David Adeleke (Davido).
The event, which attracted dignitaries, community leaders, and youths from across Izzi land, was enlivened with music, dance, and cultural displays.
Chief Nbam, known for his strong commitment to youth empowerment and cultural promotion, described Master Chinedu a.k.a Bobo as a “shining star destined to make Izzi proud on bigger stages.”
He urged stakeholders and well-meaning sons and daughters of Izzi to invest in grooming young talents, stressing that music and entertainment remain powerful tools for youth development, employment, and cultural preservation.
"The best way to celebrate the man we honor today is to practicalize the governor’s call by extending the gesture of his administration to those around us and reach out to our neighbours in the smallest way, we can.
"Chief Nwovu has always opened his arms to everyone who sought help, and I assure you we will continue to show solidarity to him while promoting the good governance of Governor Nwifuru,” Aguiyi said.
Chief Mbam,who is also, Chairman of Abakaliki Supporters Club, encouraged the Izhi people and lovers of peace to rally around Governor Nwifuru, noting that his administration’s People’s Charter of Needs is designed to ensure every citizens and communities benefits meaningfully.
In goodwill messages, the Executive Chairman of Abakaliki Local Government Area, Hon. Ebere Nwogba, the National President of Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum, Dr. Chibueze Elom, Abakaliki LGA APC Chairman,Hon. Paul Otam, Echiaba Development Center Coordinator, Hon. Friday Oketa, and a brother to the celebrant, Comrade George Iboko, lauded Chief Benedict Nwovu’s impactful lifestyle and prayed for more years of divine health and grace.
Earlier in his remarks, the celebrant, Chief Nwovu, who turned 52, described the day as unique, thanking God for his faithfulness to his family.
He appreciated Governor Nwifuru for creating a conducive environment for growth in the state and pledged to remain a source of blessing to those around him while urging Izhi people to continue showing support to the All Progressives Congress led government of governor Nwifuru.
Guests at the occasion hailed Chief Nwovu for his consistent support of the youth, with many describing the turn out of well wishers as a reflection of who the celebrant is, who never get tired in giving to those in need.
