Just In:Ebonyi Reps Member Nkama Dumps Labour Party, Sets To Join APC

The lawmaker representing Ohaozara/Onicha/Ivo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives,Hon.Nkemkanma Kama has officially dumped the Labour Party (LP) and joined the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The defection comes as a surprise to many political observers, as the legislator had only recently dismissed speculations about leaving the Labour Party. At the time, he reassured his supporters of his loyalty to LP, emphasizing that his political engagements enjoyed the support of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, and that partisan affiliation did not affect his service to his people.

However, in a statement currently circulating on social media and yet to be confirmed by , Hon. Nkama highlighted his move to the ruling All Progressives Congress. With this development, Nkama is expected to further strengthen the APC’s political presence in Ebonyi State, particularly in his constituency, where he wields strong grassroots support.
