Tragedy, As Son Arrested After Brutal Murder of Elderly Mother In Saad Al-Abdullah

A horrific crime has shaken residents of Saad Al-Abdullah City after a man in his thirties brutally killed his 75-year-old mother by slitting her throat.

According to security sources, the Ministry of Interior’s operations room received an emergency report about the incident. Security forces, forensic teams, and paramedics rushed to the scene, where the elderly victim was found fatally stabbed with a knife. Her daughter, who witnessed the shocking attack, immediately transported her mother to the hospital in the Al-Naeem area. Despite urgent medical care, doctors confirmed that the woman had succumbed to her injuries. Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect was allegedly under the influence of drugs at the time of the crime. Security forces later tracked down and arrested the perpetrator after he appeared at the hospital where his mother had been transferred. The murder weapon was recovered in his possession. He was taken into custody, interrogated, and subsequently referred to the Public Prosecution for further legal action.
