Ebonyi @29: Gov. Nwifuru Has Sustained Development in Ebonyi, Says Ohaozara LGA Boss, Ajah

As Ebonyi State marks 29 years of its creation, the Chairman of Ohaozara Local Government Area, Hon. Chinonso Ajah (popularly known as Consider), has commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for sustaining the tempo of development across the state.
Speaking with journalists in his office on Wednesday, Chief Ajah described the governor’s administration as transformative, noting that it has been characterised by massive infrastructural renewal and human capital development, in line with the People’s Charter of Needs Agenda. He explained that the governor’s policies have served as a model for grassroots governance, which he has domesticated in Ohaozara through several people-oriented projects. According to him, his administration has waged war against illiteracy in the council by expanding access to quality education. “Education remains the pillar of any advancing society,” Ajah said. “We have completed several primary and secondary school blocks, and we are achieving great milestones on this journey together.” Highlighting other ongoing projects, the council boss disclosed plans to commence the construction of an international market and a befitting military base strategically located to boost security in the area. He further revealed that the equipment of the newly constructed Ohaozara hospital is in progress, while work is also advancing on the ICT Center and the completion of the hostel project at Uburu. Chief Ajah expressed confidence that Ohaozara LGA has remained consistent in delivering good governance because it is drawing inspiration from Governor Nwifuru’s vision. “We are following the example of our father, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Builder Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, who through his People’s Charter of Needs Agenda is addressing the plethora of needs of Ebonyians,” he said. He further prayed for God’s strength and wisdom for the governor to accomplish the good works already initiated in the state, stressing that Ohaozara people remain committed to joining hands with him in building a better and prosperous Ebonyi and Nigeria for the next generation.
