Senator Nwebonyi Celebrates Chief Goddy Ogbaga at 69, Describes Him As Father Figure

The Deputy Chief Whip of the Senate and Senator representing Ebonyi North Senatorial District, Distinguished Senator Peter Onyekachi Nwebonyi, has felicitated with the former Minister of State for Power and Energy, Chief (Barr.) Goddy Ogbaga (Ezeudo), on the occasion of his 69th birthday anniversary. In a goodwill message issued on Monday, October 20, 2025, Senator Nwebonyi described Chief Ogbaga as a father figure, mentor, and an outstanding statesman whose life has been dedicated to community development, youth empowerment, and peacebuilding.

The lawmaker extolled the former minister’s humility, generosity, and unwavering commitment to human capacity development, noting that his contributions have inspired and nurtured many young leaders within and beyond Ebonyi State. “Chief Ogbaga is like water that has no enemy — ever cheerful, supportive, and always ready to extend a helping hand to others,” Senator Nwebonyi said. While wishing him a joyous and memorable birthday celebration, Senator Nwebonyi prayed that God would continue to bless Chief Ogbaga with sound health, divine protection, and many more years of impactful service to humanity.
