Abakaliki FC recorded an emphatic 2–0 victory over Solution FC in a thrilling encounter that sparked widespread celebration among fans at the Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium, Abakaliki.

The match, which kicked off with both sides showing strong tactical discipline, remained goalless at halftime despite several attempts by Abakaliki FC to break the deadlock.
