2025/26 Season: IFA Super League Hits Quarter-Final Stage On Sunday

The 2025/26 season of the Izzi Football Association (IFA) super league will enter its quarter-final stage on Sunday, December 21, 2025, with four exciting fixtures lined up across two venues.

In a statement of invitation issued by the association publicity Chairman,Dr. John Nkwuda and jointly signed by the Club's president, His Royal Highness, Eze Boniface Ezeagu and Local Organizing Committee Chairman, Comrade George Iboko, football lovers, participating Local Government Areas and Development Centres were cordially invited to witness what promises to be thrilling encounters as teams battle for a place in the semi-finals. According to the fixture list, Nnodo Development Centre will take on Abakaliki Development Centre by 1:00pm at the College of Mercy Secondary School Field, while Igbeagu Development Centre will clash with Ekumenyi Development Centre at the same venue by 3:00pm. At the Special Science School, Igbeagu, Izzi Development Centre will face Ozibo Development Centre by 1:00pm, followed by the encounter between Mbeke Development Centre and Ebyia Development Centre scheduled for 3:00pm. The Izzi Football Association urged football enthusiasts and supporters to turn out in large numbers to cheer their teams and enjoy quality grassroots football, noting that the competition has continued to promote unity, talent discovery and sports development within Izzi clan.
