Gov. Nwifuru Reiterates Commitment To Human Capital Development

The Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru has reiterated his administration’s commitment to human capacity development as a key driver of effective governance in the state. The Governor made this statement while receiving members of the Alumni Association of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, AANI, Ebonyi State Chapter, during a courtesy visit to the Government House. He charged the members, who are graduates of the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, NIPSS, to apply the knowledge and skills acquired from the Senior Executive Course to strengthen governance and improve performance across Ministries, Departments and Agencies. The Governor particularly congratulated former Commissioner for Health, Dr. Sunday Nwangele, on his successful completion of the programme, describing his performance as commendable and expressing confidence that he would contribute meaningfully to the development of Ebonyi State. He further assured that his administration will continue to support Ebonyi indigenes willing to participate in capacity-building programmes such as NIPSS, in line with the vision of efficient and forward-looking governance. The Governor also appreciated the delegation led by Senator Christopher Chukwuma Nwankwo, the oldest member of the Institute in the state, for their encouragement and commitment to deploying their expertise for the progress of Ebonyi State.
