Umahi Picks Ohaozara Council Chairmanship Nomination Form
The son of the Minister of Works, Osborne Umahi, has obtained the All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination form to contest for the chairmanship of Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State.
Speaking at the APC Secretariat at the weekend, Osborne Umahi expressed appreciation to party faithful and supporters for rallying around his aspiration.
He assured the people of Ohaozara that, if elected, his administration would focus on delivering the dividends of democracy and promoting grassroots development.
The aspirant, who was accompanied by political stakeholders from the zone, received the nomination form from the Ebonyi State APC Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha.
Supporters at the event described Umahi as a capable and visionary leader, expressing confidence that his candidature would bring renewed progress to the council area.
The forthcoming local government election is expected to generate keen interest as parties prepare to present their candidates across the state.
