Nwizi Sets To Be Decorate Notary Public of Nigeria

‎ ‎ ‎All is set for the State Secretary, Nigeria Bar Association,Abakaliki Branch, Eld. Barr. Prince Alfred N. Nwizi who is appointed a Notary Public of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to be decorated today,(Friday) by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon. Justice Kudirat Motonmori Olatokunbo Kekere-Ekun. ‎
‎The appointment, described as a major milestone in the legal profession, was followed by his official swearing-in by the Chief Judge of Ebonyi State on behalf of the Chief Justice. ‎ ‎A Notary Public is a senior legal practitioner empowered under the Notaries Public Act, 2023 to authenticate legal documents, administer oaths, witness signatures, and certify instruments for both local and international transactions.
‎ ‎Legal analysts say the position is reserved for practitioners of proven integrity, experience, and high ethical standards, noting that it plays a critical role in ensuring the credibility of legal and commercial transactions. ‎ ‎With the elevation, Barrister Nwizi is expected to contribute to curbing fraud and strengthening public confidence in legal documentation processes.
‎ ‎Until his appointment, he served in several capacities within the legal community, including Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association, Abakaliki Branch, and a member of the Association’s National Executive Committee. ‎ ‎Colleagues including, Barr. Ikechukwu Ogara described the appointment as well-deserved, citing his years of diligence, professionalism, and service to the legal profession.
