The Member Representing Ikwo/Ezza South Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on Reformatory Institutions, Rt. Hon. (Comrade) Chinedu Ogah, has commended Ebonyi State Governor, Rt. Hon. Francis Nwifuru, for what he described as strategic leadership in fostering unity through a peaceful consensus candidacy process within the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

According to the lawmaker, adopting consensus remains a practical approach to deepening internal democracy, consolidating party strength, and positioning the APC for electoral success.
Ogah also commended the State APC Chairman, Chief Stanley Okoro Emegha, for his role in maintaining party discipline and stability, describing his leadership as instrumental to the party’s unity in Ebonyi State. He urged party members to remain united, intensify grassroots mobilisation, and sustain support for the current administration to secure victory in the 2027 general elections. Ogah reaffirmed his commitment to promoting progressive governance, institutional collaboration, and sustainable development in the state.
