The group made its position known during a visit to the Ebonyi State APC Secretariat in Abakaliki, where members were received by the State Chairman of the party, Chief Stanley Okoro-Emegha.
Addressing the delegation, Okoro-Emegha described the group as a dependable partner of the APC, commending its leadership and members for their unwavering commitment to the party and its ideals.
He praised Governor Nwifuru's leadership and developmental strides across the state, assuring the group that the APC remains open and accommodating to all supporters working towards the party's success.
The APC chairman urged members of the network to take the party's message to the grassroots, stressing that the party's candidates for the 2027 elections possess the capacity to consolidate on the achievements recorded by the current administration.
Speaking on behalf of the group, the National President of the Youths and Elders Network for FON, Mr. Eze Williams, said members drawn from the 13 local government areas of Ebonyi State and supporters across the 36 states of the federation were committed to mobilizing support for APC candidates at all levels.
Williams thanked the party leadership for the warm reception and pledged that members would intensify efforts to promote the achievements of Governor Nwifuru's administration.
According to him, the governor's commitment to the payment of gratuities and pensions to retirees, as well as his investments in human capital and infrastructural development, have demonstrated responsive and people-oriented governance.
He noted that these achievements informed the group's decision to support the APC and its candidates in future elections.
