‎ ‎ ‎The towering stature and rising political profile of the Senator representing Ebonyi South Senatorial District, Senator Professor Anthony Ani, have positioned him as a formidable contender ahead of the 2027 general elections.

‎ ‎Senator Ani’s legislative record, particularly his advocacy for improved salaries for lecturers in federal institutions, increased funding for tertiary education, expanded access to education and skills acquisition, has continued to distinguish him from his critics. ‎ ‎Beyond legislative advocacy, Senator Ani has demonstrated a commitment to improving the welfare of his constituents, particularly peasant farmers.
