Nwoke Hails Abakaliki Chairman-Elect, Seeks Support for His Administration

Member representing Abakaliki North Constituency in the Ebonyi State House of Assembly, Hon. Chidi Victor Nwoke, has congratulated the Abakaliki Local Government Area Chairman-elect, Hon. Chidiebere Onyemaechi Alo, on his victory in the local government election held yesterday.

Nwoke, popularly known as “Defender,” urged stakeholders and residents of the local government to rally round the incoming administration and give it the necessary support to deliver meaningful development to the people.

In a congratulatory message, the lawmaker described Alo’s emergence as a reflection of the confidence and trust reposed in him by the people of Abakaliki Local Government Area. He expressed optimism that the Chairman-elect would provide purposeful and inclusive leadership capable of promoting development, unity and prosperity across the local government.

Nwoke also congratulated the newly elected ward councillors, particularly those elected from Abakaliki North Constituency, urging them to discharge their responsibilities with wisdom, dedication and a strong commitment to public service. “As you embark on this new chapter of service, may wisdom, strength and God’s guidance be your constant companions,” he said. The lawmaker wished the Chairman-elect and the councillors a successful tenure, stressing that their electoral victory should mark the beginning of a new era of greater development, unity and prosperity for Abakaliki Local Government Area.
