I’ll Run Inclusive Administration, First Female Izzi Chairman Aduga Pledges ‎

‎ ‎The Executive Chairman of Izzi Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Hon. Mrs. Helen Aduga, has pledged to run an inclusive administration that will give all segments of the council area a sense of belonging.

‎ ‎Aduga, who is the first woman to be elected chairman of Izzi LGA, made the commitment while speaking with journalists during the event of swearing ceremony held at Onunwakpu in Ipfeigwe Igbeagu autonomous community, Izzi Local Government Area.

‎She commended the Ebonyi State Independent Electoral Commission (EBSIEC) for conducting what she described as a free and fair election, while also applauding Governor Francis Nwifuru for providing a conducive environment for the exercise.

‎ ‎The chairman said her emergence was a call to duty and an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of the people. ‎ ‎“I wish to assure my people of credible and all-inclusive representation. It is a call to duty as I represent my people,” she said.

‎ ‎Aduga also urged candidates who lost in the election to support those who emerged victorious, stressing that the development of Izzi LGA requires the collective contribution of all stakeholders.

‎ ‎She said stakeholders must work together to support the governor’s administration in fulfilling its manifesto and the people’s needs. ‎ ‎“As the first female chairman, it shows that the people want us to come and make an impact. I encourage those who lost the election to support those who emerged, knowing that we all want to make our input and ensure that the governor’s manifesto is achieved to its fullness,” she added.
