Ebonyi: New Permanent Secretary Pledges Loyalty, Commitment to Nwifuru’s Administration

‎The newly appointed Permanent Secretary, Stella Uguru, has pledged loyalty to Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru, assuring that she will give her best in any capacity she is called upon to serve.
‎ ‎Uguru, while appreciating the governor for the opportunity, urged Ebonyians to continue supporting the administration to fully implement its manifesto under the People’s Charter of Needs, as the governor seeks re-election in 2027. ‎
‎Speaking on the appointment, the Coordinator of Ebyia Development Centre, Mr. Iboko Stephen, described it as a reflection of merit and divine direction, urging the appointees to demonstrate capacity and help the governor deliver on his promises. ‎
‎Also speaking, the Chairman of the Ebonyi State Health Insurance Agency, Ogechi Ogbaga, described Uguru’s appointment as a right decision, while the Chairman of the Civil Service Commission, Lady Virginia Oketa, charged her to remain committed, diligent and truthful in service.
‎ ‎The State Coordinator of the Progressive Ambassadors Movement, Ambassador Rosemary Nwokoro, commended Governor Nwifuru for promoting women’s participation in governance and prayed for his peaceful re-election in 2027. ‎ ‎Similarly, the Chairman of the National Association of Proprietors of Public Schools, Nwazuoge Dennis, thanked the governor for remembering the people through appointments and called for more opportunities for young people to contribute to the development of the state. ‎ ‎
