‎…Pledge to Deliver All APC Candidates in 2027 ‎ ‎
‎ ‎The pioneer Speaker of the Ebonyi State House of Assembly and former Senator representing Ebonyi Central Senatorial District, Senator Julius Ali-Ucha, alongside other political stakeholders in Ezzaegu, Ishielu Local Government Area, have endorsed Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for re-election in 2027. ‎
Senator Ali-Ucha called on Ezza people across Ebonyi State to unite politically, stressing that collective participation in the APC would strengthen their influence and bargaining power.
‎ ‎He criticised what he described as the practice of individuals seeking elective positions through opposition parties before returning to the APC after winning elections, insisting that such political manoeuvres undermined the unity of the Ezza people in pursuit of their political dream.
‎The stakeholders also pledged to mobilise support for all candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming general elections. ‎ ‎The endorsement was made on Monday when a delegation of Ezza leaders of thought, led by Hon. Alphonsus Nwali, visited the community as part of a unity and political sensitisation tour of Ezza communities across the state. ‎
‎Addressing the gathering, Nwali disclosed that Ezzaegu was the 13th community visited by the delegation in its effort to promote political unity and strengthen support for the APC. ‎ ‎He said Governor Nwifuru deserved another term in office, citing what he described as his administration's commitment to peace, inclusion and the political advancement of the Ezza people.
‎ ‎According to him, the governor's appointments of Ezza sons and daughters as commissioners, Senior Special Assistants and members of various boards demonstrated his administration's recognition of the people. ‎
‎Nwali urged the community to reciprocate the governor's gestures by voting massively for him and all APC candidates in 2027. ‎ ‎He also called for political unity among the Ezza people, arguing that collective participation in the ruling party would strengthen their chances of achieving greater political representation. ‎
‎The governor's Special Adviser, Chief Ogodo Ali Omeh, commended the community for its impressive turnout and highlighted some of the administration's achievements, particularly road infrastructure projects connecting the area. ‎ ‎He assured the people that sustained support for Governor Nwifuru would provide an opportunity to attract more democratic dividends to the community. ‎
‎Similarly, the Ebonyi State Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Hon. Queendaline Nwigwe, and the APC State Women Leader urged the people to support the governor's re-election. ‎ ‎Nwigwe specifically cited the 21-kilometre Ezillo-Onunwankwo Road and the Amagunze-Onunwafor Road as evidence of the administration's efforts to improve infrastructure and connectivity in previously underserved communities. ‎
‎ ‎The APC candidate for Ishielu South State Constituency, Comrade Friday Nwekpa, said the community had resolved to support APC candidates across all levels in appreciation of the governor's developmental interventions.
‎ ‎Also speaking, the Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Hon. Chidi Onyia;former Reps member, Hon.
