Collect Monetary Gifts but Vote Your Choice Candidate, Says Makarfi

   Lokoja-A presidential aspirant of the PDP, Ahmed Makarfi, says the calls for the restructuring in the country arose because the institutions of government have been corrupted.
  He alleges that there is lopsidedness in government appointments.
  Orji Uzor Kalu says the APC will put an end to the PDP’s rigging jamboree in Abia state in 2019.
   A presidential aspirant of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ahmed Makarfi, has advised Nigerians to receive cash gifts from rich politicians but vote for credible candidates that are trustworthy, loyal and committed to the ideals of the party.    Makarfi, who once served as a former governor of Kaduna, made the statement in Lokoja when he met leaders and stakeholders of the PDP in Kogi state to solicit their support for his presidential aspiration, PR Nigeria reports.
   The PDP chieftain said the recent calls for the restructuring in the country arose because the institutions of government have been corrupted. He complained that there is lopsidedness in government appointments. He insisted that there is the need for national cohesiveness.      Meanwhile, a former governor of Abia state, Orji Uzor Kalu, has stated that the All Progressive Congress (APC) would put an end to what he described as the rigging jamboree of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and take over the leadership of the state.
