TRASSEB Chairman Accuses Extortion of 2M

Tricycle Riders under the auspices of Tricycle Riders Association Ebonyi State, TRASSEB, on weekend accused the executives led by Com.Osi Pius of financial gross misconduct amounting to over two million naira.
According to the angry mobs who invaded the State office of the union,opposite Anan World petrol station,shortly after their rally carrying all sorts of hardware's including logs of wood and pieces of rod accused the union chairman to have organized rally in disguise of endorsing the State governor for 2nd term bid,but turned the avenue in charging members to pay three hundred naira each which he later did not account for
The group noted that the union chairman promised to use part of the money to mobilize and fuel tricycle members who would led the team during the rally,an idea it was alleged to had pleaded with those who led them to be patient that fueling their tricycle before they moved from kick off point may encourage some to using the fuel for their commercial interests,instead, if the purpose it was meant for, which all of them were said to had agreed that the money would be released to them once they get to pa.Ngele Oruta Township Stadium.
On getting there,Osi allegedly begged that the fuel money be given at their State office which they were overwhelmed with Commissioner for Youths and Sports,Hon.Charles Akpuenika's supporting them with undisclosed amount of money.
The visibly angry over three hundred tricycle riders,however, noted that all the government officials who welcomed them during the rally ,all gave them monetary gifts in appreciation for the support, but to their surprise,immediately the members arrived at their state office;the chairman ran away with all the money.
Whereas, they hinted that the union chairman ordered they be given some pieces of cabin biscuits and some privileged members were given cans of cubic malt,whereas,the chairman disappeared with the money to his woman's friend shop near mechanic village where he was traced to,drinking and eating chicken with the money alongside others;an action which triggered off demonstration amounting to the seizure of the union Secretary, Mr.Okike Franklin who in effort to escape their anger and not been lynched led them to the hide out of the Chairman which all effort to regain the money still failed.
However, when our reporter contacted the office they ignored our calls,but on text message replied to see later as at the time of filing this report.
