National Body of NAESS Advocates for PVC's Collection
--Declares Support for Umahi reelection bid.

The National Association of Ebonyi State Students, NAESS,led by Com.Ozikwu Samuel Adimoranma has advised all Ebonyians especially, students to ensure they collect their registered Permanent Voters Card to enable them vote in the upcoming general election.
He made the call at CAS Campus,Abakaliki,on Saturday 1st September, 2018 during the union National leadership meeting, noting that the group convened in order to discuss on the modalities to better the welfare of Ebonyi State students and to encourage students collection of their Permanent Voters Card to enable them participate in choosing their leaders as the electioneering period draws nearer.
In his opening remark,the National President thanked members for turning out en mass,charging them to remain resilient in championing interest of Ebonyi State Students in their various institutions across the country.
Com.Ozikwu tasked leaders of the union to be selfless in discharge of their duty,stressing that leadership demanded that one should be a servant to those which he serves as interest of the students should come first in all that they do.
However, Com.Ngonu Henry,President Ebonyi North Students Association, applauded the State Governor for the rapid infrastructural Development scattered in all parts of the State,especially the construction of Offia Nwali Flyover, revealing that the one time busy junction has cost many live through accident which with the new phase would reduce it to its barest minimum.
Lending his voice, Nwogbaga Richard,President National Association of Izzi Nnodo Students maintained that the best thing that would happen among the students is to be united,stating that through unity that the students would benefit from the ruling government.
He hinted that the sign of unity has been felt by the State Government removal of ten percent charge in their school fees which was an indication of mutual relationship between the Governor and the students, even as they expect more.
On his part,Nwiboko Peter, National Association of Nigeria Students, Joint Campus Committee Chairman Ebonyi State chapter said that like Oliver Twist, would continue to demand for better welfare of Ebonyi Students as some major offices demand serious attention such as National body of NAESS,and SUG FUNAI who needed official vehicles to ease their functions like counterpart states.
On issue of Permanent Voters Card,the President National Ezza Ezekuna Students appealed to Independent National Electoral Commission, to re-visit Campuses where they did Voter's Card registration and open stands to encourage students collection of their PVCs'.
Also, NAESS president Alex Ekwueme FUNAI, described youths and women as most vulnerable sets of people, therefore,constituted majority of voters and should use the advantage in collecting and voting right candidates who would protect their interest .
The National Vice President Administration, NAESS,Okorie Chidinma maintained that it was only through collection of PVC,and voting that Not-Too-Young to-Run Bill recently enacted into law would become effective as it would give room to more youths joining politics in both States and National with assurance that youths who constitute majority of voters would vote them into power.
Com.Austin,the immediate past Senate President of Onicha-Igboeze Students and current National Treasurer of the Association called members to go to their respective institutions and galvanized support for Governor, David Umahi whom he said that the National body is putting all necessary measures to embark on solidarity rally in support and adoption of his 2nd term bid to enable him finished all his good works in the state which would hold at Pa.Ngele Oruta township Stadium very soon.
