Election: Nwifuru's Victory Represents Equity~Peace Vanguard

A Non Governmental Organization, Peace Vanguard of Nigeria, (PVN) Thursday called on the Governorship Candidates of opposition Political parties who participated in March 18th polls in Ebonyi to congratulate His Excellency, Rt Hon Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru as his emergence represented equity. In a statement issued by Comrade Onyibe Jeremiah, the National Coordinator in Abakaliki, enjoined the contestants to unite for the development of the state.
The Statement reads: "Ebonyi state is built under equity and it's leadership and government since the creation of the state is always based on equity and fair representation from the three Political zones in the state. "Recall that Ebonyi North produced the first executive governor of Ebonyi state in the person of Dr. Sam Ominyi Egwu and Ebonyi Central produced Chief Martins Nwancho Elechi as the second while Ebonyi south produced the current governor, Egr Dave Umahi as the third executive governor of Ebonyi state which represents the fair share of the governorship position among the three Senatorial zones in Ebonyi state and now the barton of leadership have been given back to the Ebonyi North in the person of Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru to continue in the leadership of the state which represents the equity and fair share among the three Senatorial zones in Ebonyi state. "We are calling on other Governorship Candidates especially the Governorship Candidates of APC and APGA in the person of Dr. Chukwuma Ifeanyichukwu Odii and Prof. Benard Ifeanyichukwu Odoh and as well other Governorship candidates to jettison their court case against Rt. Hon. Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru the Governor elect of Ebonyi and join hands to build greater Ebonyi state were Peace, Equity and Justice romance with good governance. "We also thank the leaders and people of Ebonyi state who stood on their ground that equity must prevail in the last Governorship Election in Ebonyi state." Onyibe concluded.
