Guber Polls: NGO Vows To Deliver 100,000 Votes For AA Candidate

A Non Governmental Organization, BenMickey Grassroot Empowerment Foundation Friday vowed to deliver 100,000 votes for the Action Alliance,(AA) governorship candidate in Ebonyi state, Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo.
This is coming in the heels of the defection of the Ebonyi state party Chairman, Hon Godwin Ukwu from Action Alliance(AA) to the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
The Ebonyi state Coordinator of the foundation, Mr Otu Chukwuemeka who explained that all support groups backing Engr Nwandugo are not perturbed by the defection of the party chairman as the state structure are ready to deliver their candidates.
He revealed that though, the party chairman in the state has pinched tent with the opposition party but maintained optimistic that on the ground of equity that their candidate would succeed Governor David Umahi.
"The defection of the party chairman was based on his selfish interest and that was why none of his EXCO left with him.
"Nobody was affected by his defection and the party chairman had left but the party is intact and we are ready to deliver all our Candidates".
Otu who described the party's governorship candidate manifesto as the most realistic and achievable among other contestants called on supporters to turn out massively and vote without fear as their votes would count.
"To all our members and non members, be steadfast as the decision of the party chairman did not stop us and our Candidate, Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo and other party candidates from winning on 11th March.
"I am appealing to our supporters and those who believed in Engr Chukwuma Nwandugo to turn out en mass and vote for Action Alliance in the day of the governorship and state House of Assembly elections. he asserted.
