Ogah Honours Udeogu, As Remains Laids To Earth

The remains of Late Elder Chief Fred Udeogu, a former Commissioner for Grants and Donor Agencies in Ebonyi State during the administration of Chief Martin Elechi, has been laid to rest in his Odomowo Inyimagu compound, Ikwo Local Government Area of the state.
Speaking during the burial ceremony at the burial ceremony, the member representing Ikwo/ Ezza-South federal constituency and Deputy Chairman House Committee on Poverty Alleviation, Hon Chinedu Ogah described the deceased as a great asset, who worked hard to train his children to become responsible citizens and whose legacy stands the test of time.
" We are all gathered here to pay the last respect to our father and our mentor, Elder Fred Udeogu. I am one of the products of Elder Fred Udeogu. Ikwo lost a great personality, Ikwo lost an Icon, Ikwo lost a great philanthropist and many others"

He announced that the deceased was his close ally, friend, brother, an influential politician and leader in Ebonyi State before death snatched him away from them.
He described the deceased as a peaceful leader who would be missed by all and enjoined the bereaved family to take solace in God.
He urged the loved ones and bereaved family not to loose hope; to be encouraged and emulate the virtues of their late father; praying God to accept his soul and grant his children the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Chief Martin Nwanchor Elechi, former Governor of Ebonyi State, Senator Obinna Ogba, Hon. Edwin Nwonu, Hon.Chinedu Ogah, Amb. Franklin Ogbuewu, Chief Clement Nweke, Hon. Moses Odunwa, Arch. Christian Asaga Nwali, Sunday Basil Nwankwo among others were personalities that attended the burial.
