Elom emerges Izzi Nnodo youth president

The apex youth socio-cultural organization in Izhi Clan, Izzi Nnodo Youth Forum, (INYF)has elected new leadership that would pilot the affairs of the forum for the next three years.
The election which held at Izhi Nnodo Cultural Center, Amegu in Abakaliki Local Government Area, saw the emergence of Mr Elom Chibueze from Ebonyi council area as the new national president, Hon. Ogbonnia Sunday from Abakaliki as vice president while Hon. Chukwudi Ogbonna from Izzi as the Secretary general of the forum.
Others are: Uchenna Oroke Asst Secretary, Amos Nwuzor Finacial Secretary, Paul Igwe Nwachukwu Treasurer, Isaiah Opfunte PRO 1, Barr. Solomon Nwogbaga Chief Welfare Officer 1, Okeye Anayo Chief Welfare Officer 2, Paschal Nwovu DOS, Barr. Chidozie Nwankwo Legal Adviser, Christian Mbam Audito, Chibueze Odigwe Provost.
Earlier while declaring results of the election, the Chairman of the electoral committee who doubles as the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor, Office of the Governor, Hon. Uchenna Nwamkpuma said the exercise was conducted free, fair and credible without any hitches and urge the new executives to strive in justifying the confidence reposed on them by members of the forum.
Speaking shortly after the exercise, the immediate past president of the forum, Hon. Ben Nwovu who was full of gratitude to God over the peaceful conduct of the exercise, congratulated the new executives on their emergence and urged them to always work in synergy and shun sabotaging each other for the overall progress of the forum.
The immediate past president used the opportunity to appreciate members of the forum for their massive support and solidarity throughout his administration.
He called on them to extend same to the new leadership so as to deliver optimally.
However, Nwovu expressed confidence on the credibility of the new executives and charged to play according to the rules of the forum.
In their seperate good will messages, the executive chairman of Abakaliki LGA Hon. Ebere Nwogba and his counterpart of Ebonyi, Barr. Chinedu Uburu while felicitating with the new executives of the forum on their emergence, charged them to use their various positions to champion for total peace in all the nooks and crannies of Izhi clan in line with the peace initiative of the State Governor Chief Francis Nwifuru while believing that they would deliver on their assigned responsibilities.
Also in their good messages, the State Commissioner for Works, Hon Lebechi Mbam and the Director General of Ebonyi State Broadcasting Corporation Comrade Tony Nwizi thanked God for the peaceful conduct of the election and advised the new leadership of the forum to run all inclusive adminstration by carrying everybody along in the scheme of things and support all the policies and programmes of State Government led by Governor Nwifuru towards achieving his peoples charter of needs mantra.
On his part, the Chairman Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) Ebonyi State Chapter Comr. Douglas Ochishi who was on ground to observe the exercise, adjudged the election to be one of the most transparent and peaceful election ever conducted in the recent time, noting that it was devoid of irregularities.
He tasked the new leadership of the forum to rise to their responsibilities by discharging their official duties creditably to make entire Izhi youths proud.
The NYCN boss expressed readiness of the Council to partner and support the forum in all their activities especially as it concerns the youth development agenda of Governor Nwifuru in the State.
In his remarks, the newly elected President, Mr. Elom Chibueze extolled Izhi Nnodo youths for finding them worthy to serve in that capacity and pledged that they would run all inclusive adminstration aimed at carrying everybody along and never to disappoint but always work for the progress and welfare of the members of the forum.
