...Urges Igbos to support Tinubu to make Nigeria better

Ahead of the ongoing plan for national protest in Nigeria orchestrated by economic hardship,the Minister of Works, Engr. David Umahi, has said that South Eastern part of Nigeria would not be part of any national protest, calling on Igbos to support President Bola Tinubu to make Nigeria work.
Umahi also stated that president Bola Tinubu administration is taking hard decisions to recover Nigeria back.
The Minister of Works,Sen.David Umahi made this known in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi state during the stakeholders' engagement on the alignment for Ebonyi State 101km segment of the 477km Cross River- South East-North Central- Apo Abuja 6-lane superhighway ( the spur of Lagos-PH-Calabar Coastal Highway) crossing Enugu-Abakaliki-Ogoja( Trans-Saharan Trade Route).
The Minister of works further stated that Nigerians are paying for many years of neglect, adding that president Tinubu is taking hard decisions to recover the lost glory of this country.
He warned those that are faning the ember of division in the country to desist from such as it amounts to waste of time.
He noted that South East people are not endangered, and should avoid sit-at-home because of its economic sabotage and self inflicted injury.
The works minister also urged Nigerians to support the legacy projects of Ahmed Tinubu, explaining that the coastal high way is coming with huge economic benefits that cuts across the country.
Responding,the governor of Ebonyi state,Francis Nwifuru expressed joy over the numerous benefits of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal high way.
He appreciated Sen.Umahi for laying a strong foundation of infrastructure in Ebonyi state which is why it came second in the People's charter of needs agenda of his administration.
He commended the former governor and his team for initiating the super high way which has a big socio-economic benefits to the state and Nigeria at large.
He equally appreciated President Tinubu for a good number of federal roads that cuts across the state, saying that his administration is built on transparency and accountability, and would do everything possible to support the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Earlier, goodwill messages were taking from national assembly members including Senator Onyekachi Nwebonyi, Emmanuel Uguru,Sen.Patrick Ndubueze from Imo, among other national assembly members in attendance.
The high points of the event was the formal unveiling of the third legacy projects Lagos-Calabar Coastal high way that cuts across Ebonyi,Enugu,Benue, and Abuja.
