Xmas: Baby-Oku Foundation Raises Concern Over Cost of Commodities, Calls for Support of Less Privileged

As the wind of the Christmas celebration draws closer, the price of commodities in the market has continued to rise on daily basis feigning concern to what becomes the fate of the less privileged in the society.
However, the Baby Oku Foundation has called on concern Nigerians and good spirited individuals to share with the less privileged in the yuletide season. The group made the appeal when they paid visit to the Nigeria Red Cross, Motherless Babies Home Nsugbe Street,Abakaliki, Ebonyi state capital. Speaking during the visit, the chairman of Baby-Oku Foundation, comrade Osmond Obasi said the executive members of the Foundation deemed it imperative to add value to the lives of the motherless babies in their little way.
Comrade Obasi while making reference in the bible made it clear that God loves cheerful givers and as such, people should always be driven by the spirit of assisting others who are still struggling to survive during and after the yuletide. The Vice president of the Foundation,Mr Ikechukwu Okorie and secretary , Mr Morgan Nwogba explained that the mission and vision of Baby-Oku Foundation is to project the good image of a great philanthropist, Chief Chibuike Orogwu and his selfless services to humanity as well as to complement his philanthropic exploits towards the downtrodden. The treasurer, Mr John Onyibe,financial Secretary, comrade Joseph ekechi,legal adviser,Dr Richard Utobo and Women Leader, Miss Chinenye Otubo described Chief Chibuike Orogwu as a kind hearted man who has written his name in the sand of time through his continued humanitarian services to the underprivileged. Also, the National Publicity secretary, Comrade Chidiebere Nworie, Assistant Publicity secretary, Mrs Ifeoma Godwin and the Ezza south Coordinator, Mr Darlington Chukwu testified that Chief Chibuike Orogwu has shown the world that he is on a mission to restore the hope of the poor in the society hence his continuous service to humanity. Responding, the chairman of Nigeria Red Cross, Motherless babies home Nsugbe, Mr simeon Nweze represented by the Secretary, Elder Raphel Okorie appreciated the Executives members of Baby-Oku Foundation for their show of love and prayed God to bless them abundantly in their various endeavours. Recall that the executive members of the Foundation had recently paid a courtesy visit to Chief Chibuike Orogwu at his Amudo country home where he charged them to always evangelise the good work of Governor Francis Nwifuru whom he described as a man after God's own heart and grand master of empowerment and infrastructural development. He also used the opportunity to donate one million, one hundred thousand naira to a talented singer, and physically challenged woman to help boost her musical career. The foundation donated cartons of indomie,soap,detergent, tissue papers and dippers among others.
